As a new participant in the program, you will be enrolled in PowerUp Standard unless you choose PowerUp Green. PowerUp Standard provides the minimum amount of clean, renewable electricity required by the state.

PowerUp Green is an option that provides 100% renewable electricity for a small additional premium.

* Prices for PowerUp Standard and PowerUp Green include a $0.001/kWh administration fee. Program prices could increase as a result of a change in law that results in a direct, material increase in costs during the term of the electricity supply agreement. Program prices apply only to the electricity supply portion of your National Grid electricity bill. Delivery charges on your National Grid electricity bill are not affected by participation in the Webster PowerUp program.

** Some large commercial accounts may not be eligible for program pricing at the time of enrollment and may instead be offered market pricing. Visit the FAQ page for more information.

Please note: Savings compared to National Grid’s Basic Service prices are possible, but they cannot be guaranteed. This is because National Grid’s Basic Service prices change twice a year or more, depending on rate class, and future prices are not known. There will likely be months when the Webster PowerUp price is higher than the National Grid price. This is to be expected. The program goal is to beat the average of National Grid’s changing Basic Service prices over the time.
