Opt-Out Form

You may choose not to participate in the program. This is called opting out. There is no penalty for opting out, and you may opt out at any time. If you choose to opt out, you will be switched back to National Grid’s Basic Service for your electricity supply.

(If you opt out and then wish to re-enroll in the program during the same electricity supply contract, you may receive a market price for the duration of the current electricity supply contract.)

To opt out of the program, please use the form below or contact customer support with Webster’s program consultants.

Be sure to use the name on the account and the account service address when completing the form. If the account is under the name of the business, please use the First Name and Last Name fields to enter the business name as it appears on your bill.

  • Enter numbers with no spaces, dashes, or other characters. If you are a National Grid customer your electricity account number number has 10 digits.
  • Your name key is listed on your National Grid bill, but it is not labelled. To find it, 1) look in the blue left column of your bill, 2) locate the Enrollment Information section, and 3) find the word "Cycle." Your name key is listed after your cycle number in capital letters. Your name key is typically the first 4 letters of the last name on a residential account, or the first 4 letters of a commercial account name.
